Current Opportunities

Community Support Worker 

Location: Edmonton

​Employment Type: Full-Time/Part-Time

Wage: $18 - $20 per hour

​

Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centered support to individuals with disabilities or complex needs

  • Assist clients with daily living skills and community participation

  • Promote independence, inclusion, and well-being

  • Support clients in accessing community services and programs

Qualifications

  • Diploma or experience in social services, human services, or related field

  • First Aid/CPR certification

  • Clear Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Harm Reduction Outreach Worker

Location: Edmonton

Employment Type: Full-Time/Contract

Wage: $23 - $ 29 per hour

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide harm reduction education and overdose prevention support

  • Conduct outreach to vulnerable individuals and communities

  • Distribute harm reduction supplies and health information

  • Connect individuals with healthcare, housing, and social services

Qualifications

  • Experience in harm reduction, addictions, or community outreach

  • Diploma or experience in social services, human services, or related field.

  • Knowledge of trauma-informed and non-judgmental approaches

  • Strong crisis intervention and communication skills

Settlement/NewComer Support Worker

Location: Edmonton

Employment Type: Full-Time

Wage: $24 - $30 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Assist immigrants and newcomers with settlement and integration

  • Provide guidance on housing, employment, and community services

  • Organize workshops and information sessions

  • Support newcomers in accessing social services

Social Worker/Case Manager​

Location: Edmonton

Employment Type: Full-Time

Wage: $30 - $40 per hour

Position Overview
EmpowerBridge is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker / Case Manager to support individuals facing social, economic, and health-related challenges. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to assess their needs, develop personalized support plans, and connect them with appropriate community resources and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct client assessments and develop individualized support or case management plans

  • Provide guidance, counselling, and crisis intervention when needed

  • Connect clients with community resources such as housing, healthcare, employment, and social services

  • Advocate for clients’ rights and promote access to essential services

  • Maintain accurate case records and documentation

  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, social service agencies, and community partners

  • Support individuals experiencing barriers related to disability, addiction, or settlement challenges

Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field

  • Registration with the appropriate professional body (where applicable)

  • Experience in case management, community support, or social services

  • Knowledge of trauma-informed and person-centered approaches

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

  • First Aid/CPR certification is an asset

The Community Health Worker plays an important role in promoting health education, connecting people to essential services, and supporting individuals in overcoming barriers to care and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide health education and outreach to individuals and communities

  • Support clients in accessing healthcare, housing, social services, and community programs

  • Assist individuals in navigating available resources and support systems

  • Promote harm reduction practices and healthy living

  • Provide support to vulnerable populations, including individuals experiencing homelessness, substance use, or social barriers

  • Maintain accurate documentation and client records

  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, social service agencies, and community organizations

Qualifications

  • Diploma or certificate in Community Health, Social Services, Human Services, or a related field

  • Experience working in community outreach, public health, or social services is an asset

  • Knowledge of harm reduction, trauma-informed care, and community resources

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work with diverse populations in a respectful and inclusive manner
